STAR WARS SPEEDER BIKE CONCEPT
PRODUCT DESIGN
This speeder bike concept originated when Disney approached Razor with a proposal for a new product collaboration tied to the release of the new Star Wars movies and television series. The project's goal was to bring a Star Wars vehicle to life, creating a one-of-a-kind collectible riding toy.
The decision was made to modify a Razor MX Series dirt bike to recreate the classic Scout Trooper Speeder Bike from Lucasfilm's "Return of the Jedi." For the proposal, we showcased the bike primarily in its white variant, as it was featured this way in "The Mandalorian" television show released that year.

A donor bike was used to make a custom frame for testing how the real-world design would affect the riding characteristics of the bike. After testing the custom frame, spare parts from existing Razor products were used to create the rest of the body, completing the first prototype.
